During our Christmas celebration we thought about the journey Mary and Joseph went on in the lead up to the birth of Christ, and how our personal journeys can often involve moving from place to place. During a time of reflection we gave thanks to God, singing carols and praying a blessing for the people of Brighton and the refugees that have been displaced from Syria. We enjoyed a beautiful shadow puppet presentation by Becky Godden that was creative and poignant about Jesus’ birth. The meeting was followed by refreshments and fellowship in the Brighthelm cafe.
