September 23 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm
This Sunday 23rd September we will have guest speaker Noel Moules share with us at City Gate and teach on Sukkot ‘The Feast of Tabernacles’. This is going to be a fun and joyful time of experiencing this special Jewish festival.
We have booked the café and will be having lunch together at the end of the meeting, so please make a note in your diaries and invite friends! Everyone is welcome to join us at the feast! 🙂
What to bring…
- We will be decorating the Sukkot before and during the meeting with Harvest fruit and vegetables. Please can everyone BRING a fruit or vegetable per person (preferably ready to hang on a long piece of string if you can – a little ingenuity might be required!).
- £2 voluntary contribution towards food.
We meet together on most* Sundays at Brighthelm Community Centre on North Road at 10.30am (except the first Sunday of each month). Our meetings have a relaxed feel starting with drinks and then moving into a time of worship, prayer, and teaching. Our meetings last around two hours. We have a group for the children and youth. We look forward to having you join us!
If you have any questions or would like further details about our Sunday meetings, please email the City Gate office at firstname.lastname@example.org
*On the first Sunday of every month, we divide into Mission Groups to bless our city, & instead we hold Messy Church in Lyminster Avenue at ‘Footsteps Nursery’ (4-6pm). On these Sundays City Gate Church does not meet altogether at 10.30am. If you would like to find out more about the first Sunday of the month, please go to our calendar events and Mission Groups page.
