Celebrating the Jewish Tu b’Shvat

We will be celebrating the Jewish Tu b’Shvat ‘New Year for Trees’ Festival on Sunday 7^th February, with visiting speaker, Rabbi ‘Pesach Efune’.  The Tu b’Shvat is the start of a season in which the earliest-blooming trees in the Land of Israel emerge from their winter sleep and begin a new fruit-bearing cycle. We will be serving a ‘light fruit’ breakfast in line with the cultural context of Tu b’Shvat.  This will be during our drinks time at 10.30am in the Brighthelm café.

Our meetings have a relaxed feel starting with drinks and then moving into a time of worship, prayer, and teaching. Most of our meetings last around two hours.  Today we will be meeting ‘Altogether’, adults, children and youth!
