SUMMARY:ADVENT Sunday
DESCRIPTION:This Sunday 8th December is our advent service and we will be making Christmas wreaths.  The focus will be on welcoming Jesus into our hearts\, our homes and our communities. \nIt would be a great meeting to invite friends and neighbours to – who doesn’t like making a wreath?! \nWe will bring the bases.  \nIf possible\, please can you bring: \n\nSharp kitchen scissors or garden secateurs\nAny greenery you can find – bay\, rosemary\, holly\, ivy\nBerries or pine cones you fancy adding\nA contribution to the cost – £5  – no worries if not!\n\nIf you want to look at some examples check out: \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmhKk8jmb24 \nWe look forward to seeing you there! \nBlessings\, \nCity Gate Church \n  \n…………………………….. \n  \nWe meet together on most* Sundays at Brighthelm Community Centre on North Road at 10.30am (except the first Sunday of the month).  Our meetings have a relaxed feel starting with drinks and then moving into a time of worship\, prayer\, and teaching. Our meetings last around two hours.  We have a group for the children and youth.  We look forward to having you join us! \nIf you have any questions or would like further details about our Sunday meetings\, please email the City Gate office at office@nullcitygatechurch.org.uk \n*On the first Sunday of every month\, we divide into Mission Groups to bless our city\, & instead we hold Messy Church in Lyminster Avenue at ‘Footsteps Nursery’ (4-6pm). On these Sundays City Gate Church does not meet altogether at 10.30am.
