SUMMARY:Creative Sundays! @TheDIP Communion & Contemplative Walk
DESCRIPTION:This Sunday 17th October we will be meeting at The DIP at 10am. We will gather for communion before heading off for a short contemplative autumn walk along the meadow and through a small area of woodland from the back of the sure start centre (on Lynchett close) to the dew pond. People are free to then walk further if they want to or head back/home and anyone who cannot join the walk will be welcome to stay at the dip for tea /coffee etc. \nWe will be bringing things for people to create their own autumn arrangements at The Dip as part of our gathering there\, before we walk together up to the Dew Pond in Hollingbury.\n\n\n\nMeet at 10am at The Dip for communion @ 119D Hollingdean Terrace\, Brighton BN1 7HB\n\n\nThe link below marks the start of where we will be walking from\, after our time at The Dip.\n\n\nhttps://goo.gl/maps/cRkjEo23hVKu8LgN9\n\nWe are now in Step 4 of government guidelines for Covid-19\, therefore we do not require you to sign up to attend our regular meetings – you are welcome to just turn up on Sundays. \nWe recognise The Dip is a smaller venue and thank you for being mindful of others as you enter the building.  Doors will be open for ventilation and chairs facing forwards. We advise City Gaters and visitors to wear masks when moving around The Dip\, with personal discretion at other times. \nPlease consider doing a lateral flow test before attending. \n        \n……………………………… \nOn the third Sunday of the month\, we will be having ‘Creative Sundays’.  The aim is to create space to encounter God\, without the usual structures of Sunday meetings – church without walls/ screen! \nWe will have a common theme and some prompts on how to engage. You are invited to participate in the activity on your own\, outdoors with one other person\, in your household/ bubble/ join with others by WhatsApp video. It would be lovely if the children and young people were helped to engage as well. \nWe hope that in making space to lean into God differently\, our imaginations may be sparked to think creatively and come up with inspiration around how church might look different as we emerge from the pandemic. \nWe urge you to make the most of this time to seek God\, using the ideas provided\, and also you own ideas! \nFor information on this month’s Creative Sunday and where to meet\, please go to our CGC Facebook Page\, or email the office us at office@nullcitygatechurch.org.uk  to join us! \n
